LONDON - The political career of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is clearly hanging by a thread following a string of damaging revelations that, while ordering the rest of his country into deep lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic, he had allowed his official residence to be used for illegal parties that he often attended.
Always an artful political player, Mr Johnson may yet manage to survive. But there is no question that his reputation is in tatters.
