Egypt charges 200 over bloodshed at army HQ: Judicial source

CAIRO (AFP) - Egypt prosecutors on Wednesday charged 200 people over their involvement in deadly clashes outside the Republican Guard headquarters that left over 50 dead, mostly supporters of ousted Islamist president Mohamed Mursi, a judicial source said.

The 200 will be held for 15 days pending investigation into accusations of murder, incitement to violence, carrying unlicensed weapons and disrupting public order and security, the source said.
