Researchers have used computer models of developing cancers to show how tiny movements of cells can quickly change a tumour's make-up, reinforcing what previous studies have found about how tumours evolve and spread. The study was a collaboration between the University of Edinburgh, Harvard University and Johns Hopkins University. Dr Bartlomiej Waclaw of the University of Edinburgh said: "Computer modelling enables us to gain valuable insight into how this disease develops over time."
