Another 17 bodies recovered from Italy shipwreck

ROME (AFP) - Italian divers on Monday recovered another 17 bodies from the sea off the island of Lampedusa after a boat carrying African refugees capsized and sank last week, the coastguard said.

Coastguard commander Filippo Marini told AFP that four women were among the victims. The latest bodies bring to 211 the death toll so far from the tragedy.
