Manhunt underway after police officers shot in New Brunswick, Canada

TORONTO (REUTERS) - At least three police officers were shot on Wednesday in Moncton, New Brunswick, and Canadian police were conducting a manhunt for a 24-year-old man carrying a rifle and wearing camouflage, police said.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said that they were searching for Justin Bourque of Moncton. Local media published a photo of a man in camouflage clothing and a black headband carrying a rifle.

Reuters could not immediately authenticate the photo.

Horizon Health Network, a regional health care organisation, said on its Twitter feed that Moncton's hospital had received two patients with gunshot wounds.
