In Pictures: Day of the Cross celebrations in Guatemala

The Day of the Cross is an important festival celebrated in Latin America. In Guatemala, pilgrims take part in parades and offerings, carrying the "Holy Child" through the streets. The processional route ends with the crossing of Lake Amatitlan which locals consider a scared place.
