Raging fires in parts of the world's largest tropical rainforest have sparked global concern and put the pressure on Brazil. President Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil said yesterday that the army could be deployed to tackle the Amazon blaze. The Group of Seven countries meeting this weekend in France are also expected to come up with a response to the fires.
