The Mexican Municipality building is illuminated on the eve of the celebration of the 207th anniversary of Mexico's Independence Day at the Zocalo Square in Mexico City yesterday. The anniversary marks a rebel priest's call to arms that inspired an uprising against Spanish rule in 1810. The uprising eventually led to Mexico's independence from Spain in 1821.
