Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta said yesterday that the gunmen who stormed an upmarket hotel complex in Nairobi had been "eliminated" after an almost 20-hour siege in which hundreds of civilians were rescued. The attack, which killed 14 people, was claimed by Al-Qaeda-linked Somali group Al-Shabaab.
