Britain's Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab has denied that Prime Minister Boris Johnson had broken lockdown rules, after a photograph of him and more than a dozen others drinking wine in the Downing Street garden appeared. He said the garden was a place of work, and that the people were there after having meetings.
The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) said that an appearance on Sunday by Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai did not address its concerns about her well-being. She denied accusing anyone of sexual assault. The WTA also demanded a full, fair and transparent investigation. Last month, a post on her Weibo account claimed former vice-premier Zhang Gaoli had sexually assaulted her.
