The 48-hour tech detox challenge: Feeling lost, but sleeping and reading more

Straits Times journalists Yip Wai Yee and Bryan de Silva try to survive 48 hours without the products or services of tech giants Google, Apple, Microsoft and Facebook.

The heat is sweltering and I am speed walking in the hot sun, hoping and praying that I am headed in the right direction.

I am on my way to conduct an interview at a newsmaker's apartment located in Sengkang, an area I have been to only once before, and I cannot be sure if I am on the right track.
