Apple has finally pulled the plug on its proprietary Lightning cables and connectors.

new iPhone 15

that went on sale on Friday

comes with a USB-C port,

which is the standard for juicing almost all portable devices including Android phones, Windows computers and even Apple’s MacBooks and iPads.
