Win a pair of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Gear S2 devices

SINGAPORE - Here is your chance to win one of Samsung's new Galaxy Note 5 smartphones, as well as the company's upcoming Samsung Gear S2 smartwatches.

The Korean tech giant is hosting the Galaxy Studio consumer event at Civic Plaza, Ngee Ann City this weekend, and will have seven pairs of its latest devices to give away daily.

Attendees can take part in a design contest where they have to design a watch face for the Samsung Gear S2 in under five minutes. The best design every hour will walk away with a brand new Galaxy Note 5 and Gear S2, worth $1,536.

Running on Samsung's own Tizen operating system, the Gear S2 smartwatch is powered by a 1GHz dual core processor, and sports a 1.2-inch circular screen that offers a 360 x 360 pixel (302 PPI) resolution.

It is compatible with Android smartphones from other brands, and offers an IP68 (dust and water resistant) rating, as well as calendar, e-mail, news and text notifications.

There are two versions of the watch, which will be available from October 2. The dark gray model, which comes with a dark gray band, and the silver model, which comes with a white band, are priced of $448.

The Gear S2 classic, which comes in black and with a leather band, is priced at $548.

At the event, guests can experience the ultra high quality (UHQ) audio feature introduced in the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+. They can also have their photos taken and printed on freshly made cups of lattes, using edible ink.
