The Straits Times tested all four telcos' 4G networks to help users make the call

The glaring weakness in TPG's network is the lack of 4G coverage in underground MRT tunnels and platforms, though it has until January 2022 to meet the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) service coverage standard for MRT tunnels.

ST's findings were in line with a report by mobile analytics firm Opensignal last July, which found that TPG users experienced much slower 4G speeds than those of other telcos.
