Apple and Google have doubled down on privacy and security with a slew of new features in the latest version of their mobile operating systems.
With these updates, users of Apple's iOS and Google's Android software - which together are found in almost all of the smartphones in the market - can now restrict third-party apps from accessing sensitive data collected by their mobile devices.
