Sad farewell to Casio's digital compact cameras

The Japanese wristwatch giant was a trailblazer in the camera industry, but lost ground when it failed to keep up with the times

I was in Casio's Tokyo office when the company celebrated the 20th anniversary of its digital compact camera business in July 2015.

Sadly, there will be no 24th anniversary for it to celebrate.
