There is a new Wi-Fi standard in town. And it is coming here later this month, when a new home router from Asus that supports this next-generation Wi-Fi standard, known as 802.11ax, arrives in stores.

Singapore is the first market where this router will be available. It is also likely to be the only such router for a while, as other firms are not ready to sell their models.
