For years, Mrs Virginia Ng was paying for a StarHub TV plan. But as she and her family did not tune in to much of its offerings, she cancelled it two years ago.

Then the 49-year-old housewife discovered Netflix last year. She was drawn to its exclusive content as well as the convenience of being able to watch the shows whenever she wanted.
