Most full-time national servicemen (NSFs) spend their off-duty days resting at home, playing video games or hanging out with friends.

But 24-year-old Eugene Lim decided to dive into the realm of cyber security and pick up hacking, a hobby that recently earned him a cool US$8,500 (S$11,700) - about 10 times his monthly rank allowance.
