Exclusive video game titles at E3 a breath of fresh air

They may limit the pool of players, but can potentially push games to new level with their creativity

Exclusive video games came under the spotlight at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) last week after Microsoft said it was adding five new studios to beef up its line-up of exclusive titles for the technology giant's gaming platforms - the Xbox One console and Windows computers.

Microsoft and rival Sony, which makes the PlayStation 4 game console, have since expressed further commitment to making more exclusive games.
