Contest: Win an Apple Watch by telling us about your data loss disasters

SINGAPORE - Today is World Backup Day, an initiative to raise awareness about the importance of backing up your data.

According to a survey conducted by software firm Acronis, over 50 per cent of the respondents either save their data on a single device, typically their computers, or not at all.

As a result, they could lose all their data, valued at over $1,000 by more than half the survey respondents, if that device is damaged or misplaced. Find out more at

Tell us your brush with data loss - your computer crashed or your mobile phone was stolen - and stand a chance to win an Apple Watch (worth $529) and a copy of the Acronis True Image backup software. Nine other copies of Acronis True Image are up for grabs, too.
