I almost shed a tear when I booted up this year's remake of Shadow Of The Colossus on my PlayStation 4, as the original was a game I had yearned to play for more than a decade but never got around to it.

The original Shadow Of The Colossus, released for the PlayStation 2 in 2005, was initially a sleeper hit. But it quickly became a critical favourite and has been hailed as one of the greatest and most influential video games of all time.
