SINGAPORE - The third iteration of game convention GameStart kicks off on Friday (Oct 7) at the Suntec Singapore Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The three-day event, which drew 17,000 people last year, spans two halls on the fourth floor of Suntec.
Attendees will be able to try out a plethora of gaming-related activities, from getting early-access to unreleased video games to watching intense eSports matches.
Highlights of the event include a chair race held by local gaming chair manufacturer Secretlab, and showcases by indie game developers and cosplay exhibitions.
Xbox is making a appearance at the show for the first time, with blockbuster titles such as Gears Of War 4 and Forza Horizon 3.
The South East Asia Major 2016 will also see internationally-renowed fighting game players such as Daigo "The Beast" Umehara and local star Ho Kun Xian competing for a spot in the official Capcom Cup 2016 Finals.
