Before you know it, the June school holidays are here. That also means a consumer technology show (or two) will be here.

The Consumer Electronics Exhibition, or CEE, 2017 starts today and runs till this Sunday.

Organised by Exhibits Inc, a subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings, which also brings you IT Show and Comex, CEE will take up levels 1, 3 and 4 in Suntec Singapore.

Doors to CEE 2017 will open from 11am for levels 1 and 3, and noon for level 4, till 9pm daily during the show.

With major tech brands such as Acer, Asus, Canon, Dell, Samsung and many others, there will be plenty of gadgets and gizmos available for visitors to try and buy at the show floor.

Visitors can look forward to new launches and bargains. For example, Acer will be showcasing its new Swift series of laptops at the show while Samsung will be showing off its latest Qled TV sets.

Acer will be showcasing its new Swift series of laptops while Samsung will be showing off its latest Qled TV sets.

For bargains, you can get an action camera for only $179 (usual price $299) with the Curve Xtreme 200 4K Wi-Fi action cam (Booth 8585).

Do also look through some gadgets in B12 and B13 that we think you might want to check out.

If you need to get rid of your old PCs, notebooks, tablets and smartphones, you might as well take them to the level 4 entrance and trade them in for cash vouchers to spend at the show.

In addition, old gaming consoles, portables and games are eligible for trade-in.

Even your old backpacks won't go to waste. You can take them to Challenger's booth (Booth 301) to get a $20 discount on Targus or STM backpacks. All the old backpacks collected will be donated to the Salvation Army, so you are doing a good deed as well.
