The LG V20 is a phone for the media junkie. Whether you are consuming or producing videos, photos or music, the V20 has something for you.

For those who like shooting their own videos, the 5.7-inch V20 comes with Steady Record 2.0 video stabilisation, which analyses each frame of your clip for smoother playback. It also has three microphones to capture audio, for clean, lossless sound.

For audiophiles, the V20 has a premium 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC for top-quality audio playback, and an included pair of B&O earphones.

The front and rear cameras of the V20 are also standouts. HP SPECTRE

The HP Spectre is one of the most beautiful ultrabooks around.

It has a sleek black aluminium and carbon fibre chassis, with rose gold accents on its hinges, backlit keycaps and a glass trackpad.

It is also one of the thinnest laptops on the market, at just 10.4mm thick - the width of a single AAA battery.

The ultrabook weighs a featherweight 1.1kg.

Despite its small footprint, the HP Spectre is not short on power.

It comes with either an Intel Core i5-6200U or i7-6500U processor, 8GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of solid-state storage.

The 13-inch ultrabook has a battery life of up to 9hr, and an edge-to-edge scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass display.

DYSON SUPERSONIC HAIR DRYER

The Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer is a complete redesign of a regular hair dryer, using Dyson's Air Multiplier technology.

This means that instead of the usual spinning blades, Dyson's hair dryer is powered by a 1,600-watt motor inside the handle of the dryer. The motor is mounted on rubber, to reduce vibrations and noise when the dryer is operating.

The hair dryer also has a sensor that measures air temperature 20 times a second, and sends the feedback to the microprocessor, which adjusts heating accordingly.

It also comes with three magnetic snap-on nozzles: a Smoothing nozzle, a Styling nozzle and a Diffuser.

CASIO EXILIM EX-TR70

Price: $1,399

The Casio Exilim EX-TR70 is a godsend for selfie lovers.

The 11.1-megapixel camera weighs just 149g, and comes with an in-built stand so that it can be placed upright on flat surfaces.

It also has a three-inch touchscreen display that can be swivelled around to face the user so that you can see yourself as you are snapping away.

On the software side, it comes with Make-Up Plus Technology, not just for photos, but for videos as well. This smoothens out skin tones, while maintaining the detail of eyelashes and eyebrows.

The camera's Advanced Make-Up Mode also features a redesigned Skin Brightening function, which not only enhances skin tone, but also adds a rosy tinge to cheeks .
