Finance student banks on tech career

When banking student Rachel Chung told her family she wanted to take a coding course, she was immediately met with doubt.

"My parents were like, 'A girl doing tech? That's so weird.' And my brother, who is studying tech at ITE (Institute Of Technical Education), kept telling me that coding will be very difficult," the banking and financial services student at Ngee Ann Polytechnic tells The Straits Times.
