SINGAPORE - Plantronics has launched the BackBeat Go 3 wireless headphones and the Voyager 5200 wireless Bluetooth headset.

Unlike the previous models in the series, the BackBeat Go 3 in-ear headphones have been redesigned to rest more comfortably and securely in your ears. Plantronics said they are resistant against light rain and perspiration too.

The BackBeat Go 3 connects to your mobile device wirelessly via Bluetooth to provide high-resolution audio. Its inline controls lets you skip tracks, adjust the volume and even activate your smartphone's personal assistants Apple Siri or Google Now. The headphones can last up to 6.5 hours on a single charge. A charging case extends listening time up to 13 hours.

The BackBeat Go 3 comes in black or grey and is priced at $169. With the charging case, it costs $219.

The Plantronics Voyager 5200 Bluetooth headset is designed for mobile professionals who need to take calls in noisy environments. It comes with special noise and wind reduction features, such as an aerodynamic boom that lets wind slide past without creating turbulence. It also has four omni-directional microphones to pick up the wearer's voice.

The Voyager 5200 is said to last up to 7 hours on a single charge. It will be available in July at $199. A charging case accessory that adds 14 hours of talk-time will cost $69.
