What it should have been In our Aug 29 report, "SEA Games defence a priority for Soh", we said that long-distance runner Soh Rui Yong is now aiming to become the first man to win back-to-back SEA Games titles next year. For clarity, the sentence should have read that it is for "back-to-back SEA Games marathon titles".
We also reported that Soh already has the 10,000m (31min 15.95sec) and half-marathon (1:07:21) marks under his belt.
Singapore Athletics has since clarified that Mok Ying Ren holds the national half-marathon record. He clocked 1hr 7min 8sec at the Arizona Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon in January.
