Margaret Oh, the long-time coach of Shanti Pereira, has quit as the trainer of Singapore's top female sprinter, sending shockwaves through the SEA Games squad.

The official, who had just guided the 100m (11.58sec) and 200m (23.60) national record holder to two bronze medals in the Philippines, will leave the Athletes' Village earlier than scheduled, citing health and personal reasons. She could not be reached for comment.
