Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) veteran Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone (above) was in no mood for smiles when he faced off with Leon Edwards at the UFC Fight Night Singapore Media Day at the Mandarin Oriental hotel yesterday. In promotional interviews in the lead-up to their fight at the Singapore Indoor Stadium tomorrow, Edwards, 26, had repeatedly mocked Cerrone, 35, about his age, calling him "old" and "slow". The usually laid-back Cerrone responded to the jibes by promising to teach the Briton a lesson at Fight Night Singapore, where he is gunning for a record 21st UFC win. Tickets, from $48 to $378, are still available.
