Flavio Cobolli outlasted Karen Khachanov in a five-set thriller as the Italian ninth seed and the 2026 French Open finalist won the marathon battle 0-6 7-6 (4) 6-7 (5) 6-2 6-2 in four hours to advance to the last 16.

1455 DEFENDING CHAMPION SWIATEK CRASHES OUT

Defending champion Iga Swiatek suffered a shock third-round exit at Wimbledon as rising Filipina Alexandra Eala stunned the third-seed Pole 7-6(9) 6-2 to reach the last 16.

1415 PAOLINI BEATS SAKKARI

Italian 13th seed Jasmine Paolini overwhelmed Greece's Maria Sakkari 6-1 6-2 to reach the fourth round at Wimbledon.

1343 MERTENS OUSTS SECOND SEED RYBAKINA

Belgian 25th seed Elise Mertens beat Australian Open champion and world number two Elena Rybakina 7-6(4) 6-1. She will next face Czech 21st seed Marie Bouzkova.

1303 QUALIFIER KRUEGER REACHES LAST 16

American Ashlyn Krueger beat Daria Snigur 6-3 6-2 to become the only qualifier in the fourth round in the women's singles this year. She faces 12th seed Marta Kostyuk next.

1248 DE MINAUR DEFEATS SVAJDA

Australian fifth seed Alex de Minaur marched into the fourth round with a 6-2 5-7 6-2 6-4 win over American Zachary Svajda.

1150 KOSTYUK BEATS NAVARRO

French Open semi-finalist and Ukrainian 12th seed Marta Kostyuk beat Emma Navarro 6-2 4-6 6-1.
