SINGAPORE - With 30 days left to the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global, the hype is gradually building up.
A tennis-themed festival organised by the Singapore Tourism Board will be held from Oct 7-9 at Suntec City's North Atrium.
Called 'City Serves Up Tennis!', the public can take part in a tennis-themed mass workout session helmed by local musician and yoga instructor Sandra Riley Tang, watch a live screening of the China Open and take a photo with a wax figure of world No. 2 American tennis star Serena Williams.
There are activities to take part in for a chance to win tickets for the Oct 23-30 WTA Finals to be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The season-ending event will feature the eight best singles and doubles pairs of this season.
So far, Williams and world No. 1 Angelique Kerber are the first two singles players to have qualified for the Finals.
