The Micromax Indian Aces continued their winning streak in the Coca-Cola International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) presented by Qatar Airways on Tuesday, beating the Musafir.com UAE Royals 30-11.

It was the Indian side's fourth consecutive win in the league, and it further cements their place at the top of the four-team standings with a full 16 points. The Royals stay in second place after four ties with 11 points.

Serbian Ana Ivanovic got her side off to a good start when she beat France's Kristina Mladenovic 6-2, before Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna posted another win by defeating Mladenovic and Nenad Zimonjic 6-5 in the mixed doubles following a shoot-out.

Mirza gave credit to her partner Bopanna for taking them to the win in the mixed doubles. She said: "We stick together and we have so much chemistry on court, which gets us out of those tight situations."

Frenchman Gael Monfils gave Tunisian Malek Jaziri a 6-1 thrashing in the men's singles. In the past champions' singles, Goran Ivanisevic took on Fabrice Santoro before the former was substituted after injury. Santoro eventually won the match 6-2.

Said Ivanisevic: "I'm not sure what I did, but I felt a pull in my hamstring, so I thought it was best to stop. Against Fabrice you have to run a lot, a lot of sliding, so I thought it was better to stop than to go home."

In the men's doubles, Zimonjic teamed up with reigning US Open champion Marin Cilic to take on Bopanna and Monfils, beating them 6-1.
