ZAGREB (AFP) - US Open champion Marin Cilic, who has yet to play this season due to injury, was named on Tuesday in the Croatia Davis Cup team for next month's match against Serbia which will be led by world number one Novak Djokovic.

"We know the situation with Marin's injury, but we still hope that he could help the team in Kraljevo (where Croatia will play hosts Serbia from March 6 to 8)," coach Zeljko Krajan said.

The 26-year-old Croatian, ranked 11 in the world, is still suffering from the same right shoulder problem which forced him to sit out the Australian Open.

Apart from Cilic, Borna Coric, Mate Delic and Marin Draganja were named in Croatia squad.

Meanwhile, Djokovic, 27, was named in the Serbia team along with Viktor Troicki, who returns to the national team after serving a one-year doping suspension.

Serbia coach Bogdan Obradovic also named Filip Krajinovic and Nenad Zimonjic in the team, Serbia's Tennis Federation said in a statement.
