Karolina Pliskova

Here for the WTA Finals, No. 2 seed Karolina Pliskova tells The Straits Times whose backhand she admires most.

Q&A

Q Emma Stone plays Billie Jean King in her new movie. Who would you like to play as an actress?

A A super woman, maybe someone like Lara Croft.

Q How is the women's game better than the men's game?

A It can change a lot in the women's game. In the men's game, there are not as many surprises.

Q Dream doubles partner?

A My sister (Kristyna) because we haven't played for a long time and I would love to play with her.

Q One shot you admire from any tennis player, male or female?

A Actually, I would like to take legs from Simona Halep because she has pretty fast legs. And for a shot, I'm fine with my serve but I would like the backhand from Serena Williams.

Q Fastest player on tour?

A Halep.

Q Best-dressed player?

A (Dominika) Cibulkova or (Caroline) Wozniacki.

Q Your perfect cheat meal?

A I like all the sweets but for me, I think the best is ice cream.

Q Best tennis moment of your career?

A The final of the US Open last year (she lost to Angelique Kerber).
