May 25 - Highlights of the second day at the French Open on Monday (times GMT):

Play began under hot and sunny conditions at Roland Garros, with temperatures in Paris around 25 degrees Celsius and forecast to rise to about 33 degrees later in the day, with no rain expected.

Four-time French Open champion Iga Swiatek, seeded third, will open proceedings on Court Philippe-Chatrier against Australian wildcard Emerson Jones.
