Australian tennis player Jarmila Gajdosova (left) and Goran Ivanisevic, the 2001 Wimbledon champion from Croatia, flagging off a convoy at Orchard Road yesterday, sending the Harley-Davidsons and Chrysler Jeeps on their way to deliver Christmas presents to children with special needs and illnesses. The duo are in town to play in the Coca-Cola International Premier Tennis League and were at the event at the invitation of OUE, title sponsor of the Singapore Slammers. The event was part of Stars Of Christmas, an annual community programme now into its sixth year. The initiative collected a record 800 gifts this year through corporate partners, private donors and members of the community.
