Japan's Hazuki Miyamoto claimed gold yesterday in the women's 3m springboard event of the Fina Diving Grand Prix, after partnering Reo Nishida to the mixed synchronised 3m title on Saturday. The 16-year-old joined fellow Japanese winners Nishida (men's 10m platform) and 10m women's synchro platform duo Nana Sasaki and Matsuri Arai on the final day of the Singapore leg at the OCBC Aquatic Centre. Japan finished top with 10 medals (five gold, four silver and one bronze). Singapore's four-man squad won a silver through 3m mixed synchro pair Joshua James Chong and Ashlee Tan and a bronze from twins Timothy and Mark Lee in the men's 3m synchro springboard.
