Swimming: Top stars le Clos and Halsall set for Fina World Cup in OCBC Aquatic Centre

The world's elite are set to converge in Singapore once again for the Fina Swimming World Cup at the OCBC Aquatic Centre on Nov 1-2.

Top names like Olympic gold medallist Chad le Clos, Commonwealth Games winner Francesca Halsall and Asian record holder Daiya Seto have confirmed their participation in Singapore.

The meet is a series of short course (25 metre) competitions organised by the sport's governing body. Across seven locations (Doha, Dubai, Hong Kong, Moscow, Beijing, Tokyo and Singapore), the world's top swimmers compete to finish in the overall top three to win prize money.

Singapore, which starting hosting the Fina World Cup in 2007, will be represented by butterfly specialist Tao Li, Danny Yeo and Amanda Lim.
