Xinhua - Michael Phelps won the 200m butterfly, his third victory in three days, at the US Winter National Championships on Saturday.

The 30-year-old American swimming star, leading easily at each turn, finished in 1 minute 56.11 seconds, which is not as fast as the world record of 1:51.51 that he set in Roma in 2009. Chase Kalisz was second at 1:57.19.

Phelps won the 100m butterfly on Friday and the 200m individual medley on Thursday.

The 18-time Olympic champion is preparing for his fifth Olympics next year in Rio de Janeiro.
