SINGAPORE - Homegrown catering company Neo Garden has partnered the Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) as its food and beverage sponsor, in a deal that was unveiled on Wednesday morning.

The one-year deal began in June and is worth $120,000. It was officiated at the OCBC Aquatic Centre and will last through June next year. Under the deal, Neo Garden Catering provided food and beverage for volunteers, officials and guests at last month's Fina World Junior Championships and will also do so at the Fina Swimming World Cup and Fina Diving Grand Prix next month.

Said Mr Neo Kah Kiat, founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Neo Garden: "At Neo Garden, we define success as more than just making profit, but also being a socially responsible company to give back to a community that has supported us.

"Swimming is a sport that I strongly believe in, and it's an exercise that's affordable, accessible and suitable for people for all ages."

Mr Neo added that he hopes to encourage more local small and medium enterprises to come forward to support sports.

Neo Garden is also a sponsor of the Singapore Table Tennis Association.
