Swimming: Chinese pair win mixed synchro diving gold at world c'ships

KAZAN, Russia (AFP) - Si Yajie and Tai Xiaohu of China won the mixed synchronised 10-metre diving gold at the World Swimming Championships in Kazan on Saturday, with a points total of 350.88.

Canadians Meaghan Benfeito and Vincent Riendeau took silver a long way back with 309.66 points and the bronze went to Dominic Bedgood and Melissa Wu of Australia with 308.22 points.

North Korea's Hyon Il Myong and Kim Kuk Hyang were a surprising fourth with 305.52, while the hosts' Nikita Shleikher and Yulia Timoshinina were fifth with 304.14.
