Five fitness trends to consider in cluttered world of endless workout choices

Global fitness celebrity Kayla Itsines picked Singapore to hold her first Bikini Body Guide (BBG) bootcamp in Asia last Saturday and duly received a tremendous reception at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, with thousands in attendance.

Part of the 27-year-old Australian's appeal lies in her philosophy on healthy living and her signature BBG programme, a series of 28-minute circuit exercises. These workouts are easy to follow, require little equipment and have gained Itsines a global cult following. She was hailed by Forbes as the top fitness influencer of 2017 with over 9.6 million Instagram followers.
