Participants of The Straits Times Run at the Hub on Sept 27 can look forward to a host of goodies in their race packs, which are up for collection from today to Sunday (10.30am to 8pm) at the Singapore Sports Hub's OCBC Arena Hall Five.
The venue for the race-pack collection was moved from the outdoor OCBC Square at the Sports Hub to the indoor hall, owing to the haze situation.
Race organisers will monitor the PSI levels over the next week and advise participants on race-day morning of any updates. Participants will be sent updates via SMS. They can also get the latest information on ST's Facebook page or Twitter.
This year's ST Run event will feature three categories: the 5km, the 10km and a new 18.45km race to mark ST's 170th anniversary. The paper was established in 1845.
Runners get goodies worth close to $400, including a New Balance running vest and Chan Brothers travel vouchers. They will also stand a chance to win a Land Rover Discovery Sport.
This is the third time that ST is organising a run. In 2013, the ST Run at the Park, held at the Punggol Waterway Park, drew 12,000 participants.
Last year's inaugural ST Run at the Hub saw more than 21,000 people taking part.
