Armed with renewed confidence, US-based athlete hoping for sub-47sec performance

Zubin Muncherji has never been a competitive hurdler in his eight years as a track and field athlete. Yet over the past three years, the sprinter has had to conquer several hurdles - mentally.

These obstacles, which included injury and a dip in confidence, were part of a psychological battle that he believes started after the 2015 Singapore SEA Games, where he finished sixth in the 400m final.
