Thai leads by two entering final round
Thailand's Kan Bunnabodee leads the open division of the Singapore Ladies Amateur Open Golf Championship at the Laguna National Golf & Country Club by two shots, after a second-round 66 for a 139 total.
She leads Malaysia's Nur Durriyah Damian (70, 141) and compatriot Kultida Pramphun (73, 142).
The tournament ends today.
Reds icon Moran lauded after death
LONDON• Liverpool greats past and present paid tribute to former captain, coach and caretaker manager Ronnie Moran yesterday, following his death at age 83.
He spent his entire playing career at Liverpool between 1952 and 1968, making 379 appearances, and served as a coach under managers including Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley, Joe Fagan and Kenny Dalglish.
Known as "Bugsy", he had two spells as caretaker manager during the early 1990s and had spent 49 years at the club by the time he retired in 1998.

Courtois keen to stay with Blues past 2019
LONDON • Thibaut Courtois has dismissed suggestions that he could leave Chelsea this summer and said that he wants to extend his contract beyond 2019.
The London football club feared that Real Madrid could try to revive their interest in the Belgium goalkeeper, who was valued at more than £50 million (S$87.1 million) when he indicated to Chelsea manager Antonio Conte that he wanted to leave last summer. When asked if he would like to extend his contract, Courtois said: "Of course. I'm very good at Chelsea and, if they want to continue with me, it would be great."

Indonesian driver to test for Toro Rosso
•MELBOURNE • Indonesian driver Sean Gelael will take part in three Formula One tests with Red Bull-owned Toro Rosso this year, the Italy-based team said yesterday.
The 20-year-old will be at the first in-season test in Bahrain next month, in Hungary just before the August break and in Abu Dhabi after the championship ends in November. He is competing in Formula Two - the renamed GP2 feeder series - this year, after making his debut last year.
