Pettersen leads sextet by a stroke

LOS ANGELES • Norwegian golfer Suzann Pettersen took a one-shot lead after her second round at the suspended ANA Inspiration on Friday.

She carded a 69 to reach seven-under, before the second round was stopped due to darkness.

A group of six players trail Pettersen by a stroke, including Park In Bee (69) and the 2014 US Women's Open champion Michelle Wie, who was only through eight holes of her round.

Kang shoots course record 63 to lead

HOUSTON • South Korean golfer Kang Sung Hoon shot a nine-under 63 that tied the course record at the Houston Open and led by four shots after the second round on Friday.

The tournament ended early for a quartet of Major champions. Swedish world No. 5 Henrik Stenson (77), sixth-ranked Jordan Spieth (77), seventh-ranked Australian Adam Scott (77) and South African Ernie Els (75) all missed the cut in the final event before this week's US Masters.

Pacquiao to fight unbeaten Aussie?

MANILA • Philippines boxing icon Manny Pacquiao is negotiating a July 2 fight with unbeaten Australian Jeff Horn, the Filipino world champion's camp said yesterday.

However, Pacquiao's adviser Michael Koncz did not disclose the proposed Pacquiao-Horn prize money or the venue, adding that the fighters' purse was "nobody's business".
