S-League team Home United got their AFC Cup campaign off to a fine start, beating Myanmar's Shan United 1-0 at the Thuwanna Youth Training Centre Stadium in Yangon.

South Korean midfielder Song Ui Young netted in the 75th minute.

In the other Group F game, Philippine side Ceres Negros thumped Cambodia's Boeung Ket 9-0 in Bacolod.


Red Bull set the pace in new car unveiling

LONDON • Former world champions Red Bull will be ahead of their Formula One rivals, at least when it comes to showing off their new car, after announcing a Feb 19 launch date on Monday.

The team, who won four drivers' and constructors' championships in a row with Sebastian Vettel from 2010 to 2013, will unveil the RB14 one week before testing starts in Barcelona on Feb 26.

Champions Mercedes, with Britain's Lewis Hamilton going for his fifth title, and last year's runners-up Ferrari will present their new cars on Feb 22.

Warriors extend winning streak against Suns

OAKLAND (California) • Stephen Curry scored 10 of his team-high 22 points in the second quarter on Monday, helping the Golden State Warriors overcome an early deficit en route to a 129-83 National Basketball Association rout of the Phoenix Suns.

The Warriors' third straight win to close a four-game home stand came despite an impressive performance by the Suns' Elfrid Payton, who led all scorers with 29 points.

Kevin Durant had 17 points and Klay Thompson 16 for the Warriors, who beat Phoenix for the 12th straight time, their longest active streak against any opponent.
