Kallang facility has "strong vibrancy" with mix of events; CEO to be picked by year's end

The sports fan may dream about watching top teams such as the New Zealand All Blacks, Manchester United and the Golden State Warriors at the Singapore Sports Hub, but that is not the mandate of the Sports Hub Pte Ltd (SHPL) - the consortium that manages the $1.33 billion facility at Kallang - according to its chairman Bryn Jones.

Speaking to The Straits Times yesterday, Jones said while it was possible to fill a year-long calendar with marquee events and top-tier teams every month "if you had deep enough pockets", their responsibility is broader.
