Within the Commonwealth Games Village on the Gold Coast's Southport suburb walks inspiration at every avenue.

For Singapore beach volleyball players Lau Ee Shan and Ong Wei Yu, they met greatness up close after bumping into Canadian world No. 1 duo Sarah Pavan and Melissa Humana-Paredes.
